Acid stearic là tá dược gì

Là những tinh thể cứng, màu trắng hay hơi vàng hoặc bột trắng hay ngà trắng, mùi và vị nhẹ giống mỡ.

Được dùng rộng rãi trong công thức thuốc uống và thuốc dùng tại chỗ. Chất này được dùng chính làm chất trơn trong thuốc viên nén và viên nang cứng hoặc cũng có thể làm chất dính hay phối hợp để bao với shellac.

Trong công thức uống tại chỗ, Acid Stearic được dùng làm chất nhũ hóa hay tăng độ hòa tan. Khi được trung hòa một phần, nó được dùng trong kem bôi ngoài khi trộn với 5-15 lần khối lượng dung dịch nước. Hình thái hay thể chất của kem được quyết định bởi tỷ lệ kiềm được dùng. Acid Stearic cũng được dùng để làm cứng viên đặt glycerin.
